Samuel visited that wide open field every year on his wedding anniversary, and every year his wife Anita would be there. He just wished they had more time. "He peeked into it and raised his eyebrows at the crumbs that littered her usually immaculately clean interior. A booster seat was the obvious source of the crumbs, wrappers directly under where it sat on the leather seat, and Samuel looked away from the car toward the distant tree. Beneath it were two figures; one an adult woman, the other a young child."

Made partially because I've been wanting to write this since Coco came out, and partially because I have an author's note in a different story saying it exists. The story is a little hard to understand, but gives hints at connections in my other stories. I am well aware that I used the same character name for two stories. That was intentional. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Katrina's been traveling from world to world for years, never really fitting in. Sure, she has good friends, but nothing really 'clicked'. When she saw Coco for the first time, she fell in love with all the bright colors and charming characters. After some extensive research on Mexican culture and a quick refresher on her Spanish, she opened a portal and went there. Will she find her place here, or will she have to keep trying to find a home? What will she do when a murderous familia wants her gone for good? Can she save the people of this world? (Coco does not belong to me, it is a Disney/Pixar movie. I will create some of my own rules for the world. I did not make cover, just added labels to it.)

Claudia Diaz has always felt like she has needed to prove something. Maybe it was because of her background. Maybe it was because she always felt like people didn't take her seriously when she was younger. Her parents always knew that she was destined for greatness. Whatever that may be. Growing up in Little Havana, Miami, Florida - she hadn't always had the easiest life. Tourists who came to Little Havana thought it was amazing and while it was, they didn't realize the hard life that the people who lived there had. Her parents weren't the richest but they knew they wanted to live in Little Havana because they didn't want to be away from their culture. Now working at Seattle Grace Hospital as an intern, she finally has found her calling. And maybe she found her own little havana. Mark Sloan has never been one for monogamy. The only woman he ever loved was married to his best friend. When he suddenly loses everything he's ever cared about, will he reevaluate his life or will he stick to his old ways?
