17 year old Renata García Moctezuma moved from Mexico to Forks. She is not a normal human, but rather a shaman to her people, the one of the last groups of Itzá people in Mexico. In Forks, she meets a variety of people and supernatural creatures, which doesn't surprise her, since she is used to them. What surprises her, though, is how she learns to love. (15+ contains multiple deaths, sex mentions (or implicit sex), sexual innuendos, use of foul language. Read at your own risk.) In the first part of the story, Paul will not be appearing, since I'm starting in the last part of the first book/movie, after they return from the Ballet Studio.
