Inspired by Nothing's New by Rio Romeo When considering showing his classmates what's under his mask he remembers why he hides. His mind convinces him that if he showed them the truth they would react just like how the people in his village did.

Akemi Amaterasu isn't someone who has a flashy quirk; she's a dropout high school student who runs a small business that tailors and makes custom clothes. When she isn't fussing about clothes, she writes to her numerous penpals. What happens when she meets someone who may or may not be her future boyfriend, and it turns out his classmates are her penpals? ---- -THIS DOES NOT FOLLOW THE MAIN PLOT- I'm saying this now, so don't you dare comment "this doesn't happen in the anime/manga" because I d o n ' t c a r e. Suieimei Shinkai is a girl that was born from a quirk marriage. Two rich families, the Shui(Water in Chinese) clan and Marin (Marine in Japanese) clan, decided to join in hand for nothing more than fame and money. The Marin clan were known for producing heroes with marine based quirks while the Shui clan were known for producing heroes with water based quirks. The thing about both families are they believe in only allowing strong MALE heroes coming from their families, or in other words; females are not allowed to become heroes and must stay home to care for the house and children or if they really wish to work, they must have a job where they can work from home. The stereotypical 90s type sexism where women stay at home and their only job is to care for and make children. Regardless of the families' beliefs a few females from both sides did manage to become VERY small time heroes but it never lasted long. Despite her family's ideals and beliefs Suieimei wants nothing more than to become a hero and prove to her family that females are useful in the heroic field as well. (Full description in first chapter)

Long ago was a powerful hero, that hero had probably the most strongest quirk ever. That hero could see a persons move before they even made it. They had the best reflexes ever alive. They were the strongest hero. . . . . They WERE...until they had a traumatic experience. However all of that went away because of a little child coming into their life. That little child had the exact same power as that one strong hero. That child gave hope to the hero. That child made that hero very happy. And it was you. . . . . . Yes, I'm talking about you. You made that powerful hero have hope again due to you. You made them very happy, while they made you very successful. ❗️DISCLAIMER ❗️ Please don't steal the idea! It was an idea I thought was cool 😎 Hope you like it! Slow updates cause why not ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ Strong language in some chaps!(in most chaps...) Combat (to me): Fighting (using legs and fist normal fights), strong (like super strength), can see your every move, has really good reflexes. Technically like boxing but more useful(?). Possibly update every weekday or weekend.

Y/N is late to being accepted into UA, but that doesn't hold back how tough they are. Shoji Mezo was their first friend, and more than likely a forever friend to them. Friends with others would be a bit more difficult, but it should be worth it in the long run. Unless the long run was the Sports Festival stage. They are gender neutral (uses they/them pronouns) They are asexual & aromantic (has no urge to date or get involved with other characters) They have a shadow manipulation quirk (explained throughout the story) Update (July 25th, 2021): There are events that are hinted at early on, that you will have to pick apart and put together to find future characters, events, and May-be something more sinister going on in the background of Y/N's life.
