This book contains real events that happened in real life which the author saw and heard first hand.

It starts with the murder of the protagonist's mom. The latter doesn't have a father nor siblings. She has an uncle though. However, she is not keen with him nor he doesn't treat her as a family. Her uncle didn't even help in the burial expenses of her mother. After being orphaned, the best friend of her mother who is a police detective in New York, took care of her and became her new family. Together with her aunt's husband and two sons, they tried to help the protagonist overcome her trauma.

This story starts when a girl from a province went to the city for a vacation with her Uncle's family who lives in that city. Then she met a city boy - altar server, charismatic and very handsome. They first met in the church where the boy serves. The girl at that moment was attending the mass. She went and find a comfort room before the mass starts. As she was turning her head from side-to-side, she stumbles to the boy who at that moment was rushing to the altar server's dressing room.
