(this is a complete rework of the other one. I have this posted on ao3 aswell) Yamato always feared the living more than the dead. Born with a quirk that binds her to wandering souls, she's spent her life haunted by ghosts, ignored by adults, and locked away in a decaying orphanage. For years, she's kept her head down, focused on survival and nothing else, but when a chance encounter with the ghost of a child causes an argument between her and her friend, everything changes. No longer content with just scraping by, Yamato makes it her mission to escape. And to save as many forgotten, hurting souls as she can along the way. Dead or alive, she refuses to leave anyone behind.
