This first book of the second Lion King series focuses more on Makosa's life. You already watched his cub-hood. Now follow him as he grows more into a handsome teen to a full grown adult lion. Nala thought that nearly dying in the elephant graveyard with Simba was the worst thing that could happen to her. She had no idea how wrong she was. Less than a moon after Mufasa rescued Nala and Simba from the hyenas in the elephant graveyard, Mufasa is now dead. He gave his life in an attempt to save Simba, who was caught in a stampede. Alas, his efforts were for nothing, and now both he and Simba are dead. Just days ago, Nala and Simba were disgusted by the idea that they were betrothed together. I'm sure we're all familiar with the scene when Kovu proposes to run away with Kiara. What if she never declined? If she decided to run away with him. Her parents would be devastated. The pride lands are taken over by the outsiders. Though still, there is one forgotten soul than returns to the pride- raised by another forgotten lion. Should Kovu and Kiara ever return to the pride lands, how would they like the changes? Or should the couple flee once more.

When Kiara lost her brother Kopa, her father never let his guard down. He forbid her of most things, and was often blinded by his responsibilities to remind her why he was doing this to her. As Kiara grew from a cub to a fine lioness, she grew ungrateful and took her life of relaxation and safety for granted. She never though once of the fact that any other lion needed this protection. That being Kovu. A lion who had been taken in by Scar and Zira after Vitani went missing. They raised him as their own, manipulated him into forgetting about his elder sister and sent him after Simba. But as time passed, Kovu abandoned his "parents" and decided to focus on decency. Though Scar and Zira stop at nothing for revenge. STARTING AT-- The cub days...

(Set shortly after The Lion King II when the prides become one) Kiara and Kovu have gotten closer and more bold. Kiara is in the mood for cubs but is Kovu ready to start a new generation? As the sun rises, a life will prevail itself. The adventures of our favorite lions and lionesses will never end. Now Kovu and Kiara are regal while they assist Nala to care for their newest members of the family, Kion and Fluer. I would advise you to watch the movies first because I won't explain much of the history. Princess Kamaria, the younger twin sister of Kiongozi, and the second leader of the Lion Guard, known as the Wisest. Commonly referred to as Kia, this youngster melts the hearts of everyone around her, with her shy and polite nature. Born as the smallest and weakest in her litter compared to her twin and her siblings, everyone was sure that she wasn't going to make it. But she proved herself to be worth fighting for, and with time, she grew to be one of the kindest and caring lionesses in centuries. Although physically weak and unable to withstand rougher activities and games, Kia grows stronger as a leader of the Lion Guard, and proves to be an important member. However, her popular image in the Pride Lands starts to shake when animals believe she's too small and sickly to defend the lands. Insecure about her size and strength, Kamaria goes through many challenges that cause her to doubt whether she was worth saving as a newborn, and she'll have to see her importance as a friend, a sister, and a princess. After the sudden death of King Mufasa and Prince Simba, Scar takes over as king with Sarafina as queen. The PrideLands soon becomes the famine and Sarabi, Nala, and her mother Sarafina can only watch as it gets worse when an unexpected friend comes back. -all rights are reserved for Disney-
