I know you hate me But read it anyway - Bonnie Carsden. The rushing clear waters, peaceful windy hills and the kind trusting locals faces. This was vision of my hometown that gave me hope after a 'bad' breakup. But that isn't what I returned to, instead I got- Dead people, bloody waters, and not to mention freaking monsters! I guess I'll fit in quite nicely after all. Monsters are nothing compared to my demon.

Judith Goodhope has never set in foot in Carsden before, but her long search for her missing daughter, a search she's undertaken for ten years, has led her here. Alone in the world, out of options, out of money, her job teaching English to high schoolers a distant memory, her broken marriage an already dull ache, Judith holds tight to only two things in this world: her undeniable feeling that her daughter is still out there, and her recently acquired but obsessively studied deck of tarot cards. They've steered her this far. She has no choice but to trust them. She's taken a room in a boarding house in town (she'll worry about the bill later). Apparently there's some festival bringing other tourists in. There's definitely something about this town... She'll see what's in the cards. Sammy Kaplan lives in Carsden at the edge of the Unlived Forest. Aloof and practically emotionless to other people, she starts noticing some odd things happening in Carsden. Most disconcerting to her is the nature in town. Mother's House of Horrors is a Community Project set in the town of Carsden. Last year, we witnessed the aftermath of Maggie Rose's disappearance right before the Annual Harvest Festival, and now, with the disappearance of Finn Llorens amid many other peculiar occurrences, the Town Council is taking action against a mysterious and insipid evil infecting Carsden. With their world slowly changing before them, the residents will encounter and unveil many strange secrets throughout this jarring and exhilarating experience. MHoH is a horror-based community project. Its central focus is to explore character development, work together with other writers, build a story and work towards an ending. The fate of the entire town rests in the hands of its citizens - their actions and the way they interact with each other and the world around them might just save - or doom - them all. Packed with its own share of spooky stuff, it's an experience you won't forget.

Staff Sargent Ghim Ye-Joon is a retired USMC Dog Handler struggling with some vicious demons after his return from his last deployment. At 32, he's found himself living in Carsden right by Dour Lake with his retired MPC, Caliber, and two service dogs in training, Madam and Sun. Ye-Joon had been preparing to move to South Korea to stay with family, but with all the odd events taking place in town... He might just stick around a bit longer. Her disappearance casts a curse no one would have foresee and ends in a way that will forever haunt the community. But, before all that, priest Tobias Damien has to deal with fixing the bond between him and his adoptive daughter, the fact that his almost best friend may cherish doughnuts more than their friendship, and the echoing thoughts of an annoying reference cracking voice in his head.
