Pounamu seems to be struggling with mental problems of her own while striving to write a story about accepting life and realizing the love around you. You met Micah in the year 1880 when you were only 18 years old. He spotted you in a bar with four or five fellas around you. All of them were asking if they could buy you a drink, asking if they could take you home and asking why a young pretty girl like you was in a bar on her own. Eventually, you broke out a fight when one of them got a bit TOO touchy with you and that was when you met Micah. He was the one who defended you and helped you out in the bar fight. Ever since that night, the pair of you became good friends and rode together for years. A year later you ended up in a relationship and then three years after that, Micah pulled a gun to your head asking you to marry him. Either way, you were too young, very stupid and said yes to him since you were madly in love. Five years passed with it now being 1889 and the big thing happened, you got pregnant. Micah wasn't a fan of children, but didn't mind becoming a father, he was happily married to his partner in crime so he accepted it. However... The fathering didn't last long. A week after your daughter, Misty was born, she passed away from infant mortality. Ever since that night, things were never the same with you and Micah. You remained married and loved each other but you both acted differently towards each as the loss of a small life really deeply hurt you both.
