The doctors say it's a rare disease caused by her vocal cords not forming correctly. She can hear and understand everything just fine, she just can't talk. It was hard growing up mute, but Levi found other ways to express herself, mainly through writing songs. Levi hopes moving to Australia to live with her older brother, Ben will give her a fresh start, a new beginning. She soon meets Michael Clifford, a funny, dorky yet adorable guy in her History class. Will she let him help her come to terms with her inner problems, or will she push him away like every other person in her life?
