He got a small condo in the Emerald City to stay in because even the sight of the yellow brick road made him depressed. One day he decides that his life up on the pole was much more pleasant than being alone in a city where he didn't fit in. When he returns, he sees that the crows made a new scarecrow in his place. This time, however, they made a girl. Seeing her misery and knowing what abuse had been in store for her, he helps her down and they embark on an adventure.
