After almost freezing to death in a blizzard, the four brother turtles and the four sister turtles take her home to the lair, where she meets Master Splinter and the turtles. Maus has a dark and painful past, one that was so traumatic, she remembers almost nothing about it. Slow to befriend the turtles, Maus is even slower to help them solve the mysterious happenings in New York that seem to have to do with her appearance. Will Maus find peace in the turtles? Or will she be taken prisoner by her own past?
