He lives with his usually absent father, John, and practically raises his little brother, Sam. His problem? He's a people pleaser. All he has ever wanted is to make his father proud, to be the person everyone wants him to be. Castiel Novak is your typical nerd. Socially awkward, quiet and stressing over his perfect grades. He lives with his adoptive father, Chuck Shurley, his brothers Gabriel and Michael, and Michaels long term partner, Lucifer. His problem? He fears failure. It's constant. The nagging voice in his head telling him it's not enough, that he's not enough. He worries that if he isn't perfect, people will leave him. Just like his parents did. Dean and Castiel both feel sparks towards each other, but with all their differences and personal challenges, will sparks be enough? Sequel to the summer camp AU Sam, Dean, Gabriel and Castiel all went to a camp on the summer of 2013. They were in a cabin together, became friends, and eventually became closer than that. Michael and Lucifer finally figured out what was going on between them and were the only ones who didn't have to leave each other. But when Dean and Sam left, and Gabriel and Castiel a few days later...there wasn't much hope. They said they'd fight to find each other...but when all the odds are against you, there's no way you can win. So what they did instead was wait. They waited until the winter of 2018.

On hiatus until further notice. Dean and Sam Winchester are living their apple pie life's. They had everything they wanted and more. A supportive family, their own apartments, a café they were co-owners of, and both brothers were happily out of the closet after years of denial. Dean had accepted his bisexuality after hiding from it most of his life. Even after he came to terms with his sexuality he took a long time to come out to his family. When he finally did come out Sam reviled he was gay. Their family had been accepting and supportive (for the most part) of them both. They were happy with their life's. So why did it feel like something was missing? Castile and Gabriel Novik, on the other hand, were struggling just to buy groceries every week. Their family was not as accepting of their sexualities. In fact, it was split on acceptance of the LGBTQ+ community and homophobia. After an unsuccessful family get together for Thanksgiving dinner Castiel decided to take his best friend's, Meg's, recommendation for a coffee shop to cheer them (mostly Gabriel) up with sweets and coffee. The moment they stepped in the door the missing peaces in their life's started to slid into place.
