When she heard she got an internship at Seattle Grace she immediately took the chance to find a house for her and her siblings, that was when she ran into her biological grandfather who offered his house for her that way he can live in a retirement home. She made Frank and Monica sign away their rights to her siblings and managed to take them to Seattle with her and hoped to start a new.
