Two bestfriends get into a tragic accident, giving them the opportunity to travel back in time to the 1960's, and let them be able to meet their favorite band The Monkees.

Maybe the best thing to do is for them to flee to the warm breeze of Texas rather than staying in that homesick town you call LA

Hope has known "The Monkees" (Micky Dolenz, Davy Jones, Peter Tork, and Mike Nesmith) since they were little. She has never had any idea of a romantic relationship before, until she has this weird idea she might like one of the boys. And it just so happens, the boys might like her.

While messing around with his chemistry set Micky accidentally changes Mike, Davy and himself into puppies! How will Peter deal with trying to get them back into humans and avoid being kicked out?

On an autumn day in 1966, something changes when the Monkees meet the woman known only as "La Hablante". Note: Some knowledge of the Spanish language may be needed to fully understand this story. All references within the story are historically accurate. The story is told in the third person limited and in past tense. Disclaimer: There is no vulgar cursing, graphic violence, or graphic sexual activity within this story.
