2nd Place WINNER of the 30 Days of Spooky Tales contest hosted by Microfictions, Adultfictions, and Chick Lit tales. Microfictions, flash fictions, poetry--some with a cheeky chick lit vibe but most with a horror or supernatural feel.

From a planet in 47 Ursae Majoris, where the rules of physics do not seem to apply, to the tale of an 'out-of-practice' samurai swordsman. From, what a cat is planning under the floorboards, to a vampire couple that forgets all about daylight saving. This collection has it all: science fiction, speculation, horror, dark humour and disorientating slipstream. Most importantly, each of these very short stories is exactly 140 characters long (including spaces, punctuation and everything). Not, less than 140, EXACTLY 140. This length reflects the original limit of a post on Twitter. Of course, Twitter has more recently extended the limit to 280 characters. However, increasing the limit for this collection above 140 characters would make it too easy. We don't want easy, do we?
