A place for all the short (less than 800 words) stories that I've written, since about 2023. I update once a blue moon when the mood strikes me. Reocurring themes include that feeling you get while dissociating at a moderately sized party, the blurry line between comedy and horror, and those little moments that nobody thinks of but I never shut up about. Some of it's not that good, but I don't think it really needs to be. I just want it to exist. --- Or; what several years of sporadic writing does to a mf.

There are certain things that can only be expressed through unrestrained writing. A vignette offers that luxury... a short-short story will sometimes do... a fictionalized journal entry may suffice... a poem or free verse may represent the very essence of something in a poignant and succint way. Freedom in writing is the quintessence of this work. The writer hopes to deliver...

Flash Fiction piece based on the prompt of an unsent letter

A writing exercise done for a fiction writing class. This is centered around an unnamed character relevant to a longer work of mine that I am still in the process of writing. The aim of this piece was to write three scenes, collectively to under 1,000 words, in which the character goes through an arc in three parts & the arc's climax happens offscreen. This is his perspective before and after the climax of the bigger story he's meant to be a part of. Comment your questions & I am happy to answer them, since I know this piece doesn't give readers a lot of information to work with (& this was by design).

Narcisuss was practically married to his mirror. Until one day he received a paper message which says, "hi Narcissus i stole your sus mirror btw catch me if you can xx Eli, the stalking princess" He keeps getting paper messages from Eli and he chases her. Who is this Eli ? Will he find her and get back his mirror? How did Eli relentlessly stalk him despite his power of alienation? This is a tale where of Narcissus' journey of self discovery, the one where he truly becomes into a living flower.
