"I didn't sign up to be a hero... I'm just a teacher." Daniel Carter, a weary high school history teacher, never imagined his quiet life of grading papers and boring lectures would end like this. One moment, he's walking home in the rain; the next, he's standing in a strange world, summoned as the "Hero of Light." There's just one problem: he's middle-aged, out of shape, and utterly unprepared for battle. But this world has rules Daniel knows well - the right guidance can turn the unprepared into champions. With a misfit group of young warriors at his side, he discovers that his greatest power isn't magic or strength... it's teaching. Can a teacher inspire hope, train heroes, and survive a world filled with demons, magic, and war? Or is he truly the wrong hero? Strategy. Magic. Monsters. And one teacher who refuses to give up on his students.

A long time ago, the most powerful warlocker mankind had ever known walked the world. He was a ruthlessly evil man, using ancient, forbidden magic and used to bring destruction. After many years of following the path of evil, he was finally burned at the stake and, as everyone suspected, finally annihilated. However, the truth was different. This man, if he can be called a man, was not completely destroyed. His body is gone, but a part of his dark soul remains, waiting for his descendants to produce someone strong enough to help him be reborn. That's what the legends say. Hardly anyone today believes in witch trials and burning stakes. Satoru also thought these stories were nonsense until fate brought a mysterious boy with unusual purple eyes into his path. Or simply The Gojo family takes in an orphan who survived the tragedy on the moor. Suguru discovers his dark side. Everything takes place in a world inspired by the European Middle Ages. *link to a playlist that will help you get into the atmosphere https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDIXrpxIXPq-D_Ysyrgtq4J-ePbb3fbSU

One thing is almost certain: we live in a simulation. But who is simulating us? And why? Guillaume, a 16-year-old in 2019, wakes up in the 12th century with no memories. At the same time, he also wakes up in 1986. Sent by students of applied history, he is the butterfly whose wingbeat could alter history-or maybe not. From egocentrism to geocentrism, to heliocentrism, to a few specks of dust on the edge of the universe, the history of science has taught us that giving too much importance to humanity is a mistake. This book is not fiction but a real possibility of one or multiple realities. From my perspective, the theories it explores are no less credible than any religion ever invented by humankind. Everyone has heard of the ancestor simulation theory. And it is through two thousand iterations of such simulations that this story begins. But it will take us far beyond anything the reader expects to find in a novel of this kind.
