There are guardians even in Middle-earth, though no song or scroll names them. The Hanu walk unseen-keepers of chaos and order, bound by oaths older than the Valar themselves. Their shield is secrecy; their duty, eternal. Few know their presence. Fewer still understand their burden. As the Fellowship gathers and the Shadow grows, another story moves quietly alongside. The Guardian of Balance does not stand in councils nor lead in battle-but walks the spaces in between, where choice and consequence bend unseen. Yet even in the quiet between great deeds, lives are changed in ways no history ever records. Bonds form. Paths entwine. And what begins as a journey beside the great tale becomes something far more personal-shaped as much by connection as by fate. This is a tale of parallel paths: a hidden watcher bound to Middle-earth, whose silent influence brushes against the great journey, though her name will never be written in the Red Book. 📌 A crossover of Tolkien's legendarium and the Hanu Chronicles-not a retelling, but a parallel myth unfolding in the quiet between great deeds. ✧ Slow burn | Found family | Character-driven | Canon-adjacent | Romance

The eagles in LOTR don't have much of a purpose besides appearing and saving the day, so this book brings a new race to Middle Earth that has more involvement with them. And one of these characters might possibly come to meet a certain elf, who knows?

The crows of Middle-Earth see everything. From the awakening of the Elves to the blackening of the Southlands and the fall of Eregion. In the decaying citadel of Pelargir, Lady Helena Stormcrow walks under the guise of peace. In reality, she seeks to protect the deadly secret which has kept her people powerful for centuries. In the west, Lady Elia, former vice-emissary to Lord Celebrimbor, lives in a self-imposed exile with her hyperpeceptive daughter Sirea--trying to shake away the shadows of what happened in Eregion--until an orc pack drives them from hiding, into Gil-Galad's game. Told from multiple perspectives, Nine of Crows is a slow-burn, deeply haunting epic of grief, love, and political intrigue as secrets take flight in black feathers, and the Nine begin to rise... CONTENT WARNINGS: Violence, several moderately graphic injuries, light romantic affection (hand holding and a kiss with several moments of flirting), heavy themes of trauma, PTSD, depression, and grief.

A rudimentary rewrite of the Rings of Power. Our overlords, headed by the Dark Lord Bezos, have sullied The One Tolkien's prophecy. I present to you my head-cannon rewrite of the show. I also will be using more source material than the bastardized show, but even with my best effort of research and understanding of the Silmarillion et cetera, I cannot promise my retelling will take into account every ounce of lore that has ever been written of Ea. Note: My prose and linguistic skills will never rival the likes of Tolkien, but I have a deep appreciation and care for his storytelling. I will try my best to give respect to his original works and tone but just know that (I believe) no one has ever rivaled his skill, therefore mine will be no different. At least I am not motivated by turning a profit by commodifying a deeply spiritual legendarium carefully crafted by one of the best artists of all time. Shout out to Nerd of the Rings YouTube channel for their character videos, and Tolkien Untangled for their in-depth rewrite videos for the inspiration! Thank you! I hope you enjoy.

The Fellowship is broken. Boromir has fallen. Merry and Pippin are taken. Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli run across the plains of Rohan in pursuit. Calmoriel did not run beside them. In the time that followed, something changed. Book II of The Lost Line opens not with the chase across the plains, but with a brief return to Rivendell - and then to Helm's Deep, where Rook steps once more into the war beside the Fellowship. She has healed. Her elven foresight has awakened. And though she speaks little of what passed in her absence, those who know her best can see it: She is not entirely the same. Set during the events of The Two Towers, this is not the story of where she went - but of who she is becoming. ✧ Slow burn | Found family | Character-driven | Canon-adjacent | Romance

{UPDATES ONCE IN A BLUE MOON} (also I started this when I was 14 so give me a break please and thanks) Fëawen Elanessë is an orphan. She lived for over two thousand years in the halls of Mirkwood, under the care of King Thranduil. Until one day, the elven armies marched out to meet the firedrake called Smaug. - Standing alongside the elk which the king of the Woodland elves sat, she watched as the smoke and flames burned and suffocated the people of Dale, and watched as the grandson of the King Under the mountain pleaded to her king for help as his people fled from their former home. The king did nothing. He turned away from the carnage and his armies turned with him. All except one soldier, who stood away from beside Thranduil's great mount, and yelling for her king's forgiveness, leaped into the burning city. - This story is no longer traditional in the sense that I'm assuming that if you've made it all the way into my remote corner of the LOTR Fic world, you pretty much have the main plot down pat. (also I'm kind of lazy) Assume everything is as is in canon (*insert Faëwen*) unless it is written by me... Then it is probably different. This will essentially be a series of one-shots. Thanks for reading, ~ AC

When their grandmother gives them an old treasured book as a present for their birthday, the twins have no idea they're about to enter a world beyond their imagination: The Middle Earth. Where the twins find creatures they have never seen before, darkness, magic, and unexpected love. As they are trying to escape the land of the elves, they are also unfolding the secrets lying between their selves. There will be revelations that could change everything they know. Adventure, comedy, war, and romance awaits our characters. Will they be able to go back or will they choose to stay with their new found love even if it's forbidden? I own nothing of the characters, settings, etc. they belong to master Tolkien and Colfer. I do hope you enjoy the story! :D

Set in the magical World of Middle-Earth, Gems and the Rings tells the story of the royal Elven lineage of Lothlórien, starting when Gil-galad inherits powerful Rings of Power and falls in love with Amihan, a fairy Sang'gre from Encantadia who saves his life; together they raise a family of children blessed with both Elven magic and Sang'gre elemental abilities, who are gifted ancient Gems and rings to become the next generation of protectors. As the young heirs grow, they form strong alliances and friendships across different kingdoms-including the Shire, Rohan, Floravia, and Auradon-learning about duty, love, and faith, while Saruman and Sauron rise again to unleash armies of Orcs and corrupt traitors to destroy all free peoples. A massive war engulfs the land, where Elves, Sang'gres, Humans, Hobbits, and magical creatures unite to defend their homes using their unique powers, divine help from Angels, and their unbreakable bonds, ultimately driving back the darkness. The story ends with the heroes victorious but facing a new challenge: critically wounded Frodo must be taken through a magical portal to Encantadia to be healed, leading them away from Middle-Earth toward a new realm and new adventures.

Nina Pevensie could have stayed in Narnia. She could have continued to be High Queen Nina the Dauntless. After all, the White Witch had been defeated for 5 years now and she could enjoy a happy, quiet life alongside her siblings. But Nina is no quiet girl. She's not made to sit on a throne. She needs adventure, action. She needs to live for herself. Just once. In spite of herself, her steps lead her to a house under a hill. There, she meets a company of dwarves, a magician and a burglar, on a quest to reclaim a lost kingdom under the clutches of a dragon. They are loud, mad and desperate but she follows them anyway. Maybe this adventure is what she needed. Maybe this blond prince is who she needed. *********** Chapters are gonna be shorter than most fanfics but I hope you'll enjoyed it anyway. Irregular updates (sorry for that) Apparently, saying this is a mark of a good fanfiction so I'm gonna say it : english is not my first language !

In the peaceful heart of the Shire, where nothing ever happens and every day ends with comfort and certainty, young hobbit Alric Goldworthy expects nothing more than a quiet life of gardens, second breakfasts, and familiar roads. But when he attends Bilbo Baggins' legendary eleventy-first birthday party, something shifts. Among music, laughter, and the warmth of Bag End's impossible feast, Alric begins to notice strange undercurrents beneath the celebration-moments that don't quite fit, glances that linger too long, and a sense that the world beyond the Shire is closer than any hobbit would like to believe. As the party fades into memory, Alric finds himself drawn into questions no hobbit is meant to ask: Why did Bilbo Baggins truly leave? What lies beyond the borders of the Shire? And why does it feel like something vast and unseen has already begun to move? Joined by unlikely acquaintances and pulled toward mysteries buried beneath everyday comfort, Alric's quiet life begins to unravel into something far larger than he ever imagined. Beyond The Shire is a Lord of the Rings-inspired fanfiction of discovery, quiet courage, and the dangerous pull of the unknown-following an original hobbit character as he steps from the safety of home into a world that was never meant to stay hidden.
