To say that the last month has been eventful would be an understatement. Chevalier Michel is accustomed to complex political problems, and he has that side of matters well in hand, of course. But in a personal sense, he was almost too late. He almost lost Ivetta, the maid who turned his world upside-down and found a place in his heart. He won't allow that to happen again. There can be no more mistakes. He's staying with her throughout her long recovery, even if that means abandoning the competition for Rhodolite's throne and traveling to Obsidian for her medical treatment. She isn't a maid anymore. She's a princess-his princess-and he won't hand her over to his long-time best friend and rival without a fight. The Brutal Beast and the Conqueror Beast are in direct competition for the first time. Two unbeatable generals. Two geniuses. One misstep, and their personal dispute will ignite a war. That's assuming Ivetta keeps quiet and lets them decide her future. But when has she ever done that?

Ironclad: A War Across Time is a thrilling time-travel adventure that follows the crew of an American Sherman tank, Ironclad, during World War II. When a routine test of an experimental engine device goes catastrophically wrong, the tank is inexplicably transported from the battlefields of Europe to a medieval village-hundreds of years in the past. As the crew is thrust into a world where their advanced technology and weaponry are nothing short of magic, they must navigate the challenges of survival, cultural differences, and the sheer chaos their presence brings to the medieval world. Led by the stoic and determined Commander Danny Bishop, the crew of Ironclad must adapt to their new environment while facing constant threats from local knights, bandits, and even the wrath of powerful lords. As they struggle to repair their tank and maintain their survival, the crew must decide whether to remain in the past and change the course of history or find a way to return to their own time without altering the future. Amidst these dire circumstances, Commander Bishop finds himself drawn into a forbidden romance with Princess Elira, a woman promised to another. Their bond grows as they fight together against a common enemy, but their love threatens to unravel the fabric of both past and future. The crew's actions in this strange world spark a chain of events that could have devastating consequences on the timeline itself. As the boundaries between time, space, and reality begin to fracture, the crew must confront the ultimate question: should they interfere with history, or will their presence in the past unravel the very future they fought to protect? Ironclad: A War Across Time blends historical warfare, technological disparity, romance, and high-stakes adventure into a gripping narrative where the past and future collide in explosive ways.

An adaptation of the historical Macbeth and Gruoch, with some influences from other historical novels about the Moravian Interlude. Sources: Annals of Tigernach Orkneyinga Saga Heimskringla, Snorri Sturluson History of Scotland, Hector Boece Rerum Scotiarum Historia, George Buchanan Macbeth, by William Shakespeare History of Scotland, P. Hume Brown Nigel Tranter, MacBeth the King Susan Fraser King, Lady Macbeth Wikipedia Note: 1.Gruoch's name in standard Scottish Gaelic is unknown. 2.A few Shakespearean verses are included, but adapted into historical context: "O never shall sun that morrow see" here would fit to Malcolm II, as he would be dead when his other two grandsons attacked his successor; while the verse attributed to Donalbain in Shakespeare's Macbeth would be given to Sybil, as historically Donald Ban was still very little at the time of Battle of Bothnagowan. Two variants of Norn stories would be shown here, one for Gruoch and another for Macbeth. 3.Neither Nigel Tranter nor other sources could explain the origin of Clan MacDuff. Here I take the opinion that Clan MacDuff is an offshoot of Clan MacAlpin but was excluded from succession to the throne for their ancestor's illegitimacy. 4.The basic principle for a historical novel, play or other forms of adaptation of historical stories should be based on the principle of "fill the blanks with reasonable imagination while keeping historical accounts intact", and this story follows the principle. 5.Modern Scottish Gaelic with archaized names are extensively used in the story.

A fanfic of "A Song of Ice and Fire" and "Game of Thrones" with the genders changed on a few characters but most especially two characters in particular: Jon Snow is named Jeyne and Daenerys is Daeron. Jeyne Snow is a bit happier than Jon is and is a fanciful sort or at least she starts out that way. Circumstances makes it so she must go to the Wall like her canon counterpart though with guards dogging her steps. What awaits her there may just haunt her forever. Exiled prince Daeron Targaryen has never seen his former home Westeros and unlike Dany, he is a bookish, verbiose one from the start and loyal to his sister despite her constant disregard and abuse of him. Just how long that will last as well as his growing animosity to a certain horselord is something to be seen. Has been posted to other places, though in a different form. Rated Mature for Strong Sexual Content especially concerning minors (both characters are teens), Some Language, and Graphic Violence. Characters owned and Inspired by George R.R. Martin.
