Vivian Walter and Diane decides she wants to go camping with their friends: Kaile, Devlin, Tiffany and herself, of course. Together excited and ready for their adventure they go to the forest, only that doesn't go according to plan... Unfortunate weather makes their Van crash and now they are stuck in the forest with no receptions whatsoever, but what they didn't participate, was that they don't seem to be alone...

This story plays in the year 1997. At this point, Taylor is fourteen and you are fifteen. One day in December, as Taylor is done touring with his brothers, he meets a familiar special someone. in a desolated stretch of a highway, lies beneath a broken-down car under a harsh glow of just a single streetlight. beyond it, being a pitch Black Forest within a red pulsing glow-unnatural, alive, as if a heartbeat was leaking through the trees The driver Elias Warden, a washed up detective, pulls over spotting the red illuminating glow pulsing within the woods. At firsthand he himself seemingly thought it was a fire but the silence within itself was wrong. No wind. Just a low thrum of something calling with inside the forest. As Elias warden steps closer, he sees a silhouette standing amongst the trees-motionless and stiff,waiting. When he calls not a word was said back the figure only tilting its head as to be listening to something Elias can't hear. However that night Elias warden discovers something unexpected learning that the red glow within the forest had been appearing for decades upon decades, which ties to a long string of disappearances along that mysterious stretch of a road. Locals calling it the "The lantern man", a figure that lures travelers in the woods where they're never to be seen again. Elias soon discovers the truth behind this far worse folklore-the light isn't just a phenomenon now Elias must decide should he escape while he can....or step into the red forest and uncover what has been waiting in The silence all along?

After Sean's Uncle is killed in a hit and run, he and his friends drive nine hours to pack up his belongings before they start college in the fall. It isn't till they find there way to the basement that things begin to turn. After a seemingly harmless accident Sean finds himslef staring at a door that leads further down. With a storm traping them in the middle of nowhere they try to uncover the truth about who Sean's uncle was and the secrets that he had trapped in the basement.

After the new owners of the farmhouse move in, they realize that this little piece of desert heaven doesn't quite have all of its ducks in a row.
