Alfred woke up in a strange house in a strange land, with people calling him "Link" for some reason. What happens when he is sucked into the whirlpool of Link's adventure? And who exactly is this imp, who looks like England and even calls himself Arthur? Will he find out in time? Or will the Twilight King be the death of our American hero? Midna left the world of light alone, to resolve everything after the battle. In the twilight realm, she has to clean up the mess Zant made. She has to clear her name with the twili people, restore balance, repair damage, and make the twili have faith in her leadership. But, she feels empty. Like there is something else that needs to be done. Meanwhile, a new kind of evil arises, greater than ever. Will Midna fight it alone, sacrificing the one and only thing the twili have to believe in? Or will she summon her allies for a greater adventure yet?

I'll see you later" she says as she returns to the Twilight, breaking the only connection between worlds, the Mirror of Twilight.

"When I think about you, I forget the loneliness." An emotionally intense one-shot, written from Link's perspective as he ruminates on life after Midna left. I just read the Twilight Princess manga. It's great, and serves as my muse for this short piece. The manga does well to adapt the game's story in a way that better defines Link and Midna's emotional journey, especially together. Those who have only played the game can read this story just as easily, but I do think reading this story in relation to the manga enhances the emotion. So I mostly intend this to just be a short one-shot, but I still have an itch to explore Link and Midna's relationship. I have rough notions of how I could further develop it as a longer story, so if that interests you, let me know in a comment or something. Fair warning though, I have to admit that I am not a consistent writer. So keep that in mind if you consider expressing interest in an expansion to this story. Thanks for reading!
