Ever wonder what really goes on in big cities at night? It's different than what you might think. Take it from Mara Piper, a tactless and sarcastic but brave seventeen-year-old who knows firsthand. After getting attacked by a so-called Exam Drone after work, she learns about the Midnight Group, a league of secret supernatural guardians that protects humans from the unseen terrors that come out at night. And what's worse is they want Mara to join them. Now, aided by a gorgeous guy who hates her, a happy-go-lucky guy who doesn't, their oblivious best friend, a preppy smart aleck, a little kid who steals, like, everything, her two best friends (who can't actually know about any of this), and a bunny named Nimi (long story there!), she has to face her fears and become a Midnighter--or get her memory erased and forget all of the amazing new world she's found. *Parts are in Episodes, like a TV show. When Serena is told by "Kadinu" the demon that she must murder the hunters, she is scared. The hunters murdered her parents, and that is what gives her the courage to do it. William loves Tessa. But when she and Jem marry and head off to Ireland, Will is stuck with Charlotte and Henry. But when The Council finds out about hunters being murdered, they send Will to kill the murderer. Will goes out in search of a demon, but when he falls in love with Serena, what will happen? (This is a fanfiction/inspired story based off of Cassandra Clare's series' The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices)

After the previous victors of the 74th games, who managed to defeat the capitol, they demolished this cruel system of punishment and entertainment.
