Some characters are swapped, some remain their original versions, and others have developed into something unique to this adaptation. What began as a close M/M rewrite gradually becomes its own version of the story, particularly in the way Edward and Beau's relationship, the Cullen family, and the surrounding characters develop. They say hindsight is 20/20, but I am in no need of it's accuracy, I'm aware that I'm in the throes of an obsession, one with dark eyes and full lips that are capable of making my resolve crumble. I'm also painfully aware that, yes, I am a sixteen year old girl with a form of non-small cell lung cancer that has never had so much as a first kiss. I know, pathetic. As I look back, my miracle was not some impossible, medical cure, but a single boy. And a single night.
