But there is one thing Miette has never had. A real name of her own. When 9 joins them, everything begins to change. Unlike the others, 9 doesn't want to keep hiding from the machines. He wants to fight back and find out why they are being hunted. As Miette joins 9 and her family on their journey, she starts getting closer to the newest Stitchpunk. 9 sees something in 0 that no one else has before and for the first time, she begins to feel like she can be more than the number she was created with. She can finally be Miette "Mie." And maybe in a broken world where they are fighting to survive, 0 and 9 can find something neither of them expected to find.
