Hiro Hamada is finishing his final year at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology (SFIT) after a long year of fighting against villains, helping Aunt Cass with the cafe, and aggravating stacks of assignments that he always finished last minute. He soon realized that his major required a certain amount of volunteer hours at their sister school, San Fransokyo Institute for the Arts (SFIA), to graduate in the spring as planned. He never read the fine print of things like these, but soon his school finds out and assigns him to volunteer during SFIA's rehearsals. During one of these random rehearsals, he meets Miguel Rivera, an aspiring musician from Mexico who's studying at SFIA. At first, Hiro wasn't a big fan of the arts, or in general anything that wasn't science or robotics. But the two of them attempt to talk to see if he enjoys music at least. It might be that they become friends, understand each other, and hopefully go beyond that line of friendship? Or just become straight-up enemies due to Hiro not wanting to spend his time there, and rather be at his lab or alone in his room at home.

It's Miguel's first concert and he doesn't know how to feel. But then he remembers the words his late father told him.

Miguel's friend is (Name) (Last Name). Who move to Santa Cecilia. Ernesto de la Cruz's home town. Her papa sells guitars for a living. After her mama die and her papa pack their bags and move to Santa Cecilia to sell even more guitars. And to forget about the death of his wife. Which is something (Name) would like to forget about as well. On the night of Da de los Muertos. Miguel steals Ernesto's guitar sending them both to the land of the dead. Where Miguel has to learn that his family loves him no matter what. And (Name) must learn to not let go of her mother. I do not own the rights to Coco, this is just a fanfic for fun. Hiro Hamada tomo la decisión de emprender una búsqueda suicida adentrándose a aguas desconocidas con una fachada de oro y esclavos para el rey, no le importara tomar riesgos con tal de encontrar a su hermano que ha desaparecido tras un acontecimiento que nadie se explica. Su meta se vera frustrada cuando uno de los esclavos se niega a lo que seria "su destino". Historia que se ira contando atraves de los ojos de Hiro. "Miguel Rivera... ocurrente, divertido y muy rebelde, un total problema.
