Just what the title says! I noticed there aren't a whole lot of these on here, so I decided I'd make some myself. Bare in mind, I'm no writer, so these stories may not be the best, but I love this movie and its characters and wanted to show them my love! A couple disclaimers going into these: -I AM 100% okay with writing oneshots, prefs., and scenarios about Miguel, but do note that they will NEVER be NSFW! In my mind, Miguel is a minor and will ALWAYS be a minor. It makes me very uncomfortable to write NSFW material about him for this reason. -I'll also be writing about Hector and Ernesto and they WILL contain NSFW (most likely at some point). - I'm also open to writing about Imelda, but it won't be done by default. I just feel like I couldn't capture her personality well enough :'D But if it's something you'd like to see, send me a request! -While we're talking about requests, I am absolutely open to them, and I, in fact, encourage them! Please send me your ideas! -I am NOT a Spanish speaker in the slightest! I'll try to use some Spanish in the stories here and there, but note that it most likely won't be perfect. -Unless plainly stated, Hector and Ernesto are ALIVE in all works. Again, I am willing to write about them in the Land of the Dead as skeletons, but note that that is not the default! -I will be writing in a FEMALE'S PERSPECTIVE! As I said, I am no writer, and I really don't feel I have the skill to pull off a good amount of gender neutral material. Again, I CAN do it if requested, but it is not the default! Han pasado unas pocas semanas desde que la familia Rivera se mudó a San Fransokio, y el pequeño Miguel tiene especial dificultad para entender el idioma, por lo que sus padres deciden contratarle un tutor de Inglés que le ayude en las tardes después de la escuela. Grande es la sorpresa del menor de los Rivera, cuando descubre que su tan misterioso tutor es alguien a duras penas mayor que el por dos o tres años. During a lonely day in the Land of the Dead, Hector sings the song and lets the memories wash over him, the memories of the life he shared with Imelda.

Maria Rivera, was Miguel Rivera's older sister. Like her Great-Great Grandfather, she leaves to be a musician. She promised to return but after 3 years of waiting, her family gives up hope and realizes that she won't be back. Miguel's family never talks about her and all that Miguel knows was that she was just like their Great-Great Grandfather. When Miguel ends up in the Land of The Dead, Miguel meets Hector and Maria, both of who hate Ernesto Del A Cruz and his daughter Elivara Del A Cruz, who Miguel thinks are his Great-Great Grandfather and Sister. What will happen when Miguel realizes the truth about his sister and why she never came back? And the true reason why Maria hates Elivara? - - - - I only own Maria Rivera and Elivara Del A Cruz

Miguel and his mute twin sister journey to the Land of the Dead to uncover a family mystery nearly a century old. MAJOR MAJOR SPOILERS IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN COCO DO NOT READ!!! This fanfic was written for my own pleasure, I present it to you because I put a lot of time and work into it. Things may not be accurate, but we are in the realm of fiction where anything is possible. The cover is my fanart. Thank you. EDIT: After reading the Coco Novelization I edited a part so that it made more sense. This was only a minor edit, nothing in the story has changed.

Like everyone else in the music-loving town of Santa Cecilia, you love music and you're even talented in one thing: singing. Also, you have a very big dream of being a singer one day. The only thing that prevented you from reaching to your dream is your father, he misunderstands you and believes that you're not in tune with your singing voice, especially since after the death of your grandmother from an illness. So you keep your singing voice to yourself aside from those supporting you, but that's going to change when you meet a 12-year-old boy, who has a family that hates music (which you heard about) but is more than what you think.
