Jane wakes up in the glade with no memories of her past life. There is one person that she can't stand and equally he can't stand her either. They seem to always throw cuss words and cheap shots at each other but after Jane is sentenced to a night in The Maze, something changes in him. He started to care for her and he hated himself for it, he would save her from harms way even if it meant sacrificing his own life. Jane hates him, despises him. Wants to kill him, but she doesn't. She wants to see him laugh and spend time with him. She wants to dance with him and hug him tightly. But she can't. He is the enemy. He put you in this mess, she tells herself over and over. But telling yourself something and actually believing it are two completely different things.

They weren't there in the beginning, but they're here now. The bed on his left held a teenage boy with hair so blonde it was almost white. 'That's my twin brother Chase.' Aris looked over to the occupant on the bed to his right. This bed held a teenage girl who's hair was a dirty blonde color. 'My name is Eleanor.' Where twin siblings, Eleanor and Chase, who were affected differently from The Flare virus, help Aris and the remaining survivors of the Group A Maze Trials escape from WICKED in exchange for freedom. Follow along as they run off into the scorch where they face cranks, trust issues, lightning storms, and betrayals all while trying to run as far away as they can from WICKED. How everything started...

It's hard in the Glade as the only girl but your best friend Mihno helps you get by. Over time things start to get worse in the Glade but but an old friend might just be able to make it better. Alexi wakes up in the box with her memories. But It was no accident. This was meant to happen. WICKED has everything planed down to the second somebody breaths. She is on a mission to deliver a message for WICKED to the subjects in the maze. But she is also on her own mission. It's her fault everyone is in that hell hole and she is going to try and set things right between her and her bestfriend Newt (or atleast he used to be.), and make sure that nobody she cares about dies along the way. Can she do it? Will she rescue everyone from the maze and get them to the safe haven? Will she keep thoughs who aren't immune safe from the flare? Will she keep herself safe?
