Yami was never really close to the kids in her orphanage. She was always avoided because of her name. One day, the vampires struck and a deadly virus was brought onto the world. The vampires than took the remaining humans as life stock. Until Mikaela, a young boy in Yami's orphanage, set course to escape. Her family died one by one, and she sacrificed her life just to save one of them. Laying on the floor, slowly dying, with Mikaela by her side, Yami sees a silhouette of a man.
