It's no secret that L is a mysterious man. The world is dying to know everything about him but he somehow managed to hide everything about himself from the public. However, when the Kira case begins and the task force come over, all his secerts begin to spill.

After seeing her parents die in front of her and being taken away from her older brother to be experimented on, some other things happen before Claire gets sent to Japan with a loving family until Claire's adoptive mother dies of cancer. Her adoptive father blames Claire for her death, and the small peaceful period in her life was gone. What happens though when she ends up finding herself on the Kira case and finally seeing her brother after years but doesn't even recognize him? Disclaimer: I do not own Death Note Obviously.

What if Mikami hadn't messed up and gotten Light killed? What if Light had won at the end of the series, and had been able to carry on Kira's legacy? This one-shot short story explores that possibility.
