collection of byler oneshots before you start reading i'm here to warn you now that the first few chapters are very poorly written since i wrote them two years ago when i barely knew how to write, however i'm trying to improve my writing so if you don't wanna cringe, you can skip to the last few chapters (they may still be a bit cringe but you can just leave if you don't like it)

"yeah, crazy together." he didn't know it, but mike wheeler has had a crush on will byers since kindergarten, after asking him to be his friend. he didn't know how much his life would change after that. they say that love makes you crazy, and he's crazy for one person will byers, the boy with a bowlcut.

Right after the breakup between Mike and El, Mike learns that his true feelings were always meant for someone else. (the time between seasons 4 and 5)

The Zombie and the Frog is a byler fanfic set after episode 4 of season 5, this story contains personal headcanons, references, and theories. Depictions of gore will be mentioned later in the story. Will and El come back to Hawkins for Christmas. Mike starts to lose feelings for Eleven but can't figure out why. Soon enough Mike realizes he never truly loved Eleven, there was someone else who caught his heart first. There are suggested songs for each chapter. I would just like to say that I don't own any of the songs. If you are a creator of a song that I have suggested and want it taken down please let me know and it will be removed.🤍

It's been 2 weeks since the rift split in Hawkins and the Byers are packing to move back to follow the expectations of the Military. As will works through his feelings towards Mike and the knowledge that his feelings are unrequited, he begins to notice things he hadn't before. Maybe his feelings aren't so one-sided after all. (Takes place in the 18 months between season 4 and season 5)

Will is finding being a senior at Hawkins High to be more difficult than he anticipated. Constant nightmares remind him of the traumatic past he endured not too long ago. Vecna was gone, but the memories of him will always stick with Will. Hiding his romantic feelings for Mike Wheeler became easier as the year progressed. Mike seemed to forget about him.. after everything they went through? Will couldn't understand. They never spoke. Mike never even glanced his way. Troy more often than not would constantly bully Will, calling him slurs and beating him up. Will never knew why Troy lashed out the way he did.. whatever. Will thought he probably deserved it in some way. Follow along this sorry to read a tale of angst, romance, and mayhem. <3

There are 9 separate stories all ranging from 3.8K words - 10.4K words Basic Summaries: 1. A story of Mike discovering that Will is his person and what that means for his sexuality 2. Will thinks Mike has a crush on a girl only to realize a bit too late that they were already on a date 3. The same story as number 2, only from Mike's perspective instead (with some different scenes) 4. Mike knew what Will was saying with the painting in the van scene. When Will tells him he's the heart in reference to El, he thinks he might've been wrong. 5. Will accidentally starts flirting with Mike because he likes seeing him blush. Will doesn't fully realize the implications of that. 6. When Mike is confronted with the fact that Will hasn't had his first kiss he stupidly steps up to offer it to him. 7. Will tends to zone out around Mike, especially when it comes to the topic of dating. He realizes he missed an important discussion about that a little too late. 8. Byler celebrating 4 Christmases from the years of 1984 to 1987, starting as friends and growing into something more. 9. When Mike finds out Lucas is bisexual it helps him gain courage in coming out to him and telling Lucas about his feelings for Will. Lucas decides to help Mike get them together.

Following on from the ending of s5 ep4. How will mike react to wills powers? Can will defeat vecna and save his friends?
