Re-write/fix-it fic of sorts, for Stranger Things (Mike/Will -centric) Starts at the end of season 3, when the Byers' have just moved out. Mike's POV, what he got up to (in my mind), for those months in between season 3 and season 4. I'm planning on keeping the basic structure of s4 there but just altering the scenes that included Will and Mike. Not touching other plotlines as much. *Not sure of the exact date of the Byer's move, Stranger Things wiki would state they were living in Lenora from Oct '85 - March '86. I would just gather that the school year or semester would start earlier than October. A byler fanfiction based off a song I wrote. Mike is in love with Will but he doesn't think Will loves him back and he thinks he's the only gay person in Hawkins. He becomes friends with Robin and bonds over both being queer. Robin sees her and Vickie in Mike and Will's relationship and tries to convince Mike to confess to Will, but he's too scared. Will becomes friends with Robin and they end up bonding over both being gay and he asks her for advice on what to do about his crush on Mike. He thinks Mike is straight and has a crush on Robin. What's worse is that Mike also thinks Will is straight and has a crush on Robin. Robin has to get the two hopeless gay people to finally confess before the tension destroys them.

Will and El come back to Hawkins for Christmas. Mike starts to lose feelings for Eleven but can't figure out why. Even though the group still gets together sometimes, the meetings have become fewer and farther between. Mike misses the Party. He misses feeling something. There are 9 separate stories all ranging from 3.8K words - 10.4K words Basic Summaries: 1. A story of Mike discovering that Will is his person and what that means for his sexuality 2. Will thinks Mike has a crush on a girl only to realize a bit too late that they were already on a date 3. The same story as number 2, only from Mike's perspective instead (with some different scenes) 4. Mike knew what Will was saying with the painting in the van scene. When Will tells him he's the heart in reference to El, he thinks he might've been wrong. 5. Will accidentally starts flirting with Mike because he likes seeing him blush. Will doesn't fully realize the implications of that. 6. When Mike is confronted with the fact that Will hasn't had his first kiss he stupidly steps up to offer it to him. 7. Will tends to zone out around Mike, especially when it comes to the topic of dating. He realizes he missed an important discussion about that a little too late. 8. Byler celebrating 4 Christmases from the years of 1984 to 1987, starting as friends and growing into something more. 9. When Mike finds out Lucas is bisexual it helps him gain courage in coming out to him and telling Lucas about his feelings for Will. Lucas decides to help Mike get them together.
