5SOS- main character (zay) x michael boy x boy zay was kicked out of his house for being transgender (but he also kind of ran away). michael was looking for a roommate to split the rent with. zay didn't want michael to know he was trans, he thought it would be a turn off. he found michael quite attractive. since zay has been closeted, he still hasn't transitioned therefore he isn't passing. he almost never spoke, he covered his face with his hair and he did his best to avoid michael. michael was quite fond of zay. he loves his style and his "emo" hair. he felt quite hurt that zay always avoided him. what did he do? michael always flirted with zay and made sexual/romantic jokes, but was disappointed when zay avoided it. maybe he was overdoing it he thought. zay- he/him- shy, closeted michael- he/him- confident, outgoing, open TW- transphobia, internalized transphobia, abuse, homophobia, transphobic/homophobic slurs, cursing.
