I let out a piercing cry in the middle of the hallway, falling to my knees as my chest began to tighten. I couldn't breathe, and my vision started to go black. What was Connor going to do with that letter? Would he show Zoe? Would he show everyone? As I struggled to breathe, my arms wrapped around my torso, someone's shadow fell over me. "Um, are you dying?" Unable to speak, I kept gasping, trying to find air somewhere. I felt someone kneel next to me. "Kid. Um, Evan. Are you dying or not? I don't really need to be responsible for someone else's death." Even though I felt like I was dying, I shook my head. The person sighed and sat down. "Christ, here, take your weird sex letter." I snapped my head up and saw Connor sitting there. My face went red and I gasped, "It's n-n-not a sex letter! It's an assignm-ment!" "What are you talking about?"
