MWTFDYD Gate (aka my favorite) takes place in the 18 months between seasons I haven't decided if this will be a slow burn yet. Mike is devastated. Will is going to CalArts, because of course he is. And Mike? He's going to be stuck in Indiana his whole life. Will and Mike really only have this summer to rekindle their friendship. A friendship that's weakened since well...everything. And the worst part is? Mike is pretty sure he's in love with his best friend. And his best friend is a boy.

But what happens when will starts dreaming about a red ballon?/Takes place in 1985 Season 3 party so the time is the same as it (1984-1985) Will and the Mike get into a fight which leads the party to not defend will. Will is already feeling horrible, his mother favors Jane hopper more and the only person he can talk to his brother Jonathan Byers id not around for comfort anymore. Will has no one he feels alone. What happens when will cant take it anymore and hops on a but station to derry main? Well obviously He wasn't planning on going to main he was just hoping to get away from the small town of Hawkins Indiana.

"We'll have to go crazy together." This is a re-write of stranger things season 5, in which, plot holes are solved, the painting is addressed, conformitygate is real, but most importantly, Byler is canon. Btw, this is a realistic way the duffer brothers would have been able to make byler canon, they don't kiss and hold hands in the first episode. Cover is a fan made poster, I think..? After Hawkins' greatest tragedy and triumph, Mike Wheeler is left alone in a pool of his own guilt and sorrow while the others in the party move on to a new life. Eleven's death and his role in it causes Mike severe mental pain. Meanwhile, Will goes to college in Milwaukee where he's made new friends, a boyfriend, and found peace yet never forgot about Mike. But when he visits Hawkins, he spends his time helping Mike become who he truly is. This story incorporates tough situations and traumatic statements. And more importantly...love.
