Or The body found in lover's lake was Will's actual body- dead. Micheal Wheeler falls into a coma after jumping off the ledge, El didn't save him this time. They find each other again, in death.

William Briar." Michael. It was almost like he knew him, someone so personal to him. Like a man he could only dream of. It almost hurt. Like he missed him.
