After The Mind Flayer was defeated, Vecna, a more blood thirsty villain took over the brain of Will. Will struggled to control Vecna's control and managed to do so well through a few months. My personal ideas on how Byler could've been written throughout Stranger Things because season 5 volume 2 made me upset and disappointed with the poor writing. I am not upset that Byler didn't happen, but the writing was so awful and inconsistent. I am using the show as a guide, so I am writing according to the canon show storyline. This isn't going to be the best thing ever written and not everybody will agree with what I write, but I will take suggestions to improve the story.
