Mike and Will are best friends. They haven't seen each other since both started their student lives, miles apart from home. When Mike visits Will in New York City, both are excited to reunite, but especially Mike could never have foreseen how their relationship would develop this snowy December of 1989. Between the impressively high buildings of Manhattan's Lower East Side and adventures of tattoos and breaking into cinemas, Mike soon realises how much Will has changed. And what that makes him feel. In the creative writing task he has to work on during the holidays, well-known characters are revived in Mike's desperation. While confusing emotions are plaguing the young author's mind, the Paladin is experiencing quite similar feelings. So apart from a black eye, a story that needs finishing and those letters he has been getting for a few months, it is his heart that truly makes him nervous. With each passing day spent in Will's presence it gets harder to deny. But who to ask for help, when one is falling for his best friend? Follow the story that takes place a few months after the last episode of Stranger Things season 5 to fix that disappointment. All events of season 5 are canon in this story, only their further developments are newly imagined. Mike's imaginations in the end are canon as well. Anything we didn't actually see on screen didn't happen, so yes Robin and Vickie are still going strong. I guess you could see this as episode 9, sort of? Also this is more of a very slow slowburn story because Mike has exactly one (1) braincell and putting everything right takes so much time (I underestimated the plan but hey writing is fun). Many of the characters mentioned, including the main characters, are from the Netflix Series "Stranger Things" which was written by the Duffer brothers (ew). Coverart was drawn by me hehe :))

My personal ideas on how Byler could've been written throughout Stranger Things because season 5 volume 2 made me upset and disappointed with the poor writing. I am not upset that Byler didn't happen, but the writing was so awful and inconsistent. I am using the show as a guide, so I am writing according to the canon show storyline. This isn't going to be the best thing ever written and not everybody will agree with what I write, but I will take suggestions to improve the story.

Here's my new(and first) series. I hope to add a lot of chapters to this. People who adore this ship as much as I do, please don't kill me if I take forever to update. Sorry for my repetitive writing by the way. Now for the actual summary. A series of oneshots and an occasional multi-chapter, for the amazing ship known as Byler/Byeler. I hope all who read, enjoy. He wears a white suite with frilly sleeves, along with a vale on his head by dying blue and yellow little flowers. I did not understand a thing that was happening but the warm feeling it made me feel in my body didn't wanna care, though i new this was wrong so very wrong i was to be married to another and i surely was not meant to marry a dead man. Will had always had a crush on Mike, he wasn't very good at hiding it, but his loving gazes towards the boy were never returned, he didn't understand why at first, but now that he does, he's not sure what to do.

Jonathan begs his mom, Joyce, to let him bring Will and his friends, with his "friends" on a heavily planned camping trip. So she puts Jonathan in charge of bringing the four of them off somewhere for a few days. Too bad Will only gets to bring one friend, or is it? ;)

1989. Will and Mike are headed to college at the University of Michigan. They are excited to get away from Hawkins, their boring town that ended up being not so boring. As the two boys grow closer, their friendship might blossom into something more. On-going, started mid-July 2022.

Now that they've admitted their feelings for each other, Mike and Will are navigating this new relationship of theirs. Too bad Jonathan keeps interrupting. This is a follow up to my fic 'the archer' but it can definitely be read on its own.

Mike doesn't know how to deal with his new feelings for Will. He can't figure out who he likes: Will or Eleven. He tries to approach the situation with Will being gay and he tries to do the "right thing", but many things could happen from this. Many things go down between Will and Eleven, and some repeats of tragic events are in store for them. Will Mike stick with Eleven, and just lead Will on, or are his feelings genuine?
