In a quiet café in Savannah, Georgia, Brooke, a skeptical museum worker, encounters Lily, an absurdly tiny woman seeking a mysterious, disappearing magic door. While Brooke initially dismisses Lily as a hallucination or a breakdown of reality, she quickly becomes fascinated by her, choosing to playfully tease and observe her rather than let her escape. Despite her fears and the strange physical size difference, Lily proves her agency by communicating with Brooke. Instead of setting her free, Brooke decides to keep Lily company. Lily's left wondering if Brooke intends to help her, or misguide her. // Thank you for checking out my story. I originally wrote it as perspective and imagery practice but it became much more complicated. It isn't one of my main projects so I felt comfortable posting it online. Please let me know if you enjoyed it. I'd love to see any friendly comments or thoughtful discussions as well. // Vanilla cross-post from my ao3 account, "noblegiant." Fits Wattpad guidelines. Cover made with Canva. Heading images featured by chapter are all stock photos and purely for vibes.

{YA Urban Fantasy/Mild Horror Mystery} This story features: Modern young teens, a 100% real-world setting, spooky supernatural monsters, and a historical mystery. 14-year-olds Sam and Maya spend most of their days in the local Morrin Center Library in Quebec city, where Maya drags Sam over there most days as her ideal 'hangout' day. But one night, while Maya is busy reading an ancient journal, and Sam miserably looses the matches in his video game; they both fall asleep and wake up at midnight only to be locked inside the library. And what awakens from the ink is something they should have known about. This story has partially accurate historical facts involved to add to the chaotic mystery and past of the story. Cover made with Canva, all arts will be original by me. Gacha designs for characters will be involved too

WHERE THE CLOUDS DIED Oxygen is the currency. More money means a longer life. To stop breathing is to die broke. Two hundred and sixty-three years after The Great Choke siphoned the blue out of the sky, humanity is split into two warring realities. Inside the sterile, towering glass walls of the Dome, the elite Gleamers buy premium breathing plans while the working class watch their digital Atom Wallets tick down with every single breath they take. Julian is a rule-following technician managing the Giga-Tanks in the city's damp, industrial underbelly. He has never questioned the authority of the superior Providers. But when a pressure gauge needle moves for the first time in nearly three centuries, Julian discovers a terrifying truth: the city's corporate air supply is failing. Outside the glass lies the Nitrogen Void-a freezing, bone-dry desert under a pitch-black daytime sky. It is home to the Cultivators, a resilient faction of outcasts who survive in hidden underground bunkers, hunting the Slags-blind, eyeless predators that track human body heat and navigate by sending seismic clicks through stone-hard petrified trees. When Julian is betrayed by his own rulers and exiled into the void, he must team up with Vane, a cynical scavenger, and Gunnar, a battle-hardened warrior. But a routine hunt leads to a shocking discovery inside the bunker's algae vats: a tiny, living organism carrying the genetic code to restart global evolution. Now, the outcasts hold the key to the future of the human race. To save the planet, they must break into the Dome, trigger a global atmospheric reset, and reclaim the air-or watch humanity suffocate in the dark. *** 🌌 This is my very first book, written as a 13-year-old author! What would you do if you woke up one day and couldn't remember anything? Not your name. Not your age. Not even where you lived. Nothing. Well, unless you counted recipes and a really intricate knowledge of colors. But nothing that would help you. Would you panic, give up, or just wait for someone to come to your rescue? Or would you wait for a chance to help yourself, snatch it when it came and not let go? Ok, how about if you woke up to something even worse than that? Because losing your memory was just the beginning of it all. Today was the day everything changed. Forget trying to remember who you were before. It was going to take everything you had just to try and survive in a world gone mad. Your memories could come after everything else was taken care of. Updates will quiet until I am done editing the first several chapters, each of which will be marked as "Edited" once done.

The world has been blooming for a long time, now. A Blooming is the slowest death a planet can be subjected to, after all - as proven by the husks of once thriving worlds still turning around the Last Sun. Each planet had slowly peeled its layers off, bending outward in a mockery of a flower. Corpses, forever frozen in their most beautiful yet broken form. Their faces, the innermost cores, were turned towards one of the dead suns. Broken little cracked balls, the light having seeped out of them like liquid gold, lost forever. Now, the Last Sun was dying, and the last planet in this system was about to start the final stage of its Blooming. Its last hurrah. And the stars were dying with it. Darkness has been swallowing the universe, the monsters within it eating the stars. Now, the only question that remained wasn't whether it would survive - it was how it would go down. Will Burgeon, last living planet of the Solquin system, slip into endless night first, or will it be able to finish its last dance? And so, with a murder that heralds the beginning of the end, everything gets set in motion. Burgeon holds its breath. Soon, the Final Blooming will reach its last act.
