She was a normal worker drone at first, usually in charge of updating the Williams family on upcoming events which may include them or their top rivals, but eventually, Fern started malfunctioning. Three years into the job with no repairs or checkups made her slow and forgetful, and soon, she was thrown into the dump. Fern's systems were never properly shut off, and apparently, it happened to also be the case with another drone in the pile.
