Every town, city, whatever you live in, has dogs. Pet dogs, stray dogs, therapy dogs, so many dogs. But what about their life? All we see is them snuggling against your feet, playing fetch, or running away. Well, this is about the dogs of this town. Many of the events that happen in the book, you should be able to pick out the obvious ones. Many of the characters are also either based off of my friends or are their dogs. (For example, Jay, Elijah, Carlee, Ada, Lotus and Marshall, Dawn.) Also, there are no paragraphs because I absolutely hate them, I never know when to start a new one and they just get annoying.

For the time is out of joint. O cursed spite that ever I was born to set things right. The world has been reset, the city flooded with vampires and vampire Lord's ruling each territory. No one wants a pair of fangs sinked into their skin and their blood seeped out. I mean even I don't want that. We all know humans fear vampires, but the circle continues, vampires fear magic art users. No!! not witches, they are different. It turns out that vampires were formed from magic. I never believed in fairy tales, of fate, or anything like that. Until that day. The day I got that letter. Nagisa was just a normal girl. She received a letter which Turned her whole world upside down.

Fifteen years ago, a virus was spread throughout the world. Later known as the "Ki" virus, it quickly infected an estimated 33% of the world's population. People who succumb to this virus are gifted extraordinary and otherworldly powers no human can posses-but once in contact with this virus for too long, infected persons crave blood. A hunger none can stop once it begins. These affected were later known as, "Ki Sehnen", or KS for short. In such a short amount of time, a third of the world had already succumbed to it. Afraid of the unknown, for it had no cure and limited information at the time, world leaders agreed to confine and execute any sighted Ki Sehnen. Fifteen years later, seventeen year old Chisa runs away in search of her older sister who had disappeared five years after the Ki Virus was officially recognized by the public. Infected with the virus, everybody says that her sister was most likely killed. However, no matter what, Chisa knows she's alive. Which leads her face to face with a bar known as "Clover", the only clue her sister had left behind before going missing.
