Sometimes you have to leave home to find it. Maggie Foxcroft's life is utterly upended when her crazy parents announce they will be going on a vacation. A long vacation. Like the entirety of second trimester, Maggie will have to leave her friends, the dive team, and whatever blooming relationship she had with Noah Walters. It's only a few months everyone keeps telling her, but Michigan seems further away everyday she wakes up in Florida. Then she meets the charming Jack Grant, golden boy at the small, private Christian academy her parents enrolled her in for the trimester. As she grows closer to him and their scheduled return date, her friends back home seem more distant. When she arrived all she wanted to do was turn straight back around and fly home, but what happens when home becomes less of a place and more of a person?

Chapter 1: Two Worlds, One Heartbeat The night sky over Bangalore glowed in shades of blue. Aryan sat alone in his dimly lit apartment, headphones resting over his ears. The soft glow of his laptop illuminated his face while the city outside slept peacefully. Hundreds of miles away, Delhi shimmered beneath streetlights and evening traffic. The city was alive with noise, yet Kiara sat quietly beside her window, watching the fog gather beyond the glass. Their worlds looked different. Their lives moved at different speeds. But their hearts beat for the same reason. Aryan's phone rang. A familiar smile appeared on his face. "Did you know," he said after the call connected, "scientists believe the universe is constantly expanding?" Kiara laughed softly. "And what made you think of that?" "Because I think they're wrong." She raised an eyebrow. "Oh really?" Aryan leaned back in his chair. "The world feels smaller every day. Technology connects everyone. Cities feel closer. People feel closer." His voice softened. "But somehow, the distance between us keeps feeling bigger." Silence settled between them. Not the awkward kind. The comfortable kind. The kind that only exists when two people understand each other completely. Kiara placed her palm against the cold glass window. "You know, Aryan, when your voice reaches me through this window, it sounds different." "Different how?" "Deeper." She smiled. "Almost like you're sitting right beside me." Aryan closed his eyes. For a moment, he imagined he was. And for a moment, the distance disappeared. End of Chapter 1 Chapter 2: The Empty Chair Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. Video calls became routines. Messages became lifelines. Yet some things remained impossible to replace. One Saturday afternoon, Kiara walked into a small café tucked away in a quiet corner of Delhi. It was beautiful. Warm lights. Soft music. The smell of freshly brewed coffee. The exact kind of place

This is a love story like you've never experienced it before. Something you'd expect to see on movie screens (hence the title, haha) but to Joe and Lyla, this is their reality. This is the story of exactly how choices can influence your entire life, and proof that the world is indeed not a wish-granting factory, as my favourite author Mr John Green so astutely pointed out in his masterpiece, The Fault in our Stars. Enjoy, but be prepared for tragedy.

She cares. Someone cares. Alexander still couldn't get the idea through his brain. Evelyn cares. Alexander continued smiling like an idiot, as he waited for Evelynn, or xxvelynn, to respond, which wasn't for long. Just when one couldn't imagine Alexander's smile getting any bigger, it did. Alexander wasn't aware at that moment that she lived so far away, instead he continued to beam down at his phone, something he stared at quite often now. ~ {Written in first POV} ~ Alexander King hasn't had the most luck with life. His life is full of lies, which he eventually learns throughout his life. His father is pretty much dead to him and his mother. He wants to know what exactly happened on that mysterious day when he was six. When his mother drove far away from their home, a look of panic on her face. What caused her to be so afraid of her husband, and to Alexander, his father? Evelyn Valentina, a sweet girl who still maintains a smile, even when she has a mute father and an over protective mother. She hasn't really lived life, truly lived it. When these two meet online, their worlds brighten up, a lot. ------------------- {Note: All situations in this book are made up. This is not relating to any person, even if names match. Everything is completely coincidental.} ------------------- Some mature language.
