Sadie Mandell was a 15 year old girl, living with her older sister Kate Mandell, and her friend Rose. Sadie had a disliking towards Kate. She believed she nagged to much. Kate one day had to work for a family, the Fairchild family. She had to teach the little girl in the family, Flora. They meet her older brother Miles, a coldhearted boy, the same age as Sadie. Sadie took a liking towards the boys personality, and towards his hatred to Kate. Sadie took more than a liking to the boy, but she was head over heels for him. Did I mention that Kate was insane?
