"Can you tell us the story daddy," asked the little girl looking up at him with wide eyes. He gave her a warm smile as he sat by her bedside, "Are you sure it's a long one?" "But it's the best story," said her brother who was in his own bed a few feet away. "Not the story of how me and mommy met," the man said slightly surprised. Both children shook their heads vehemently. He chuckled giving in, "Alright the story of how me and mommy fell in love'. He smiled again as he began to recollect the story, "It started at the end of the story where we met".

Miles and Gwen had been best friends since freshman year. They had also both been denying their romantic feelings towards each other for that long, despite their obvious attraction and undeniable chemistry. They were both stuck in their own worlds, too consumed by their own feelings to consider the other's. But this year, it was going to be different. Miles was coming off of the high of summer, ready to start junior year, look at colleges, and most of all... to tell Gwen his feelings. Whatever those hard-to-decipher feelings are. No Heroes AU where they all go to school together for drama and social dynamics. Deaths of mentors have occured, backstories (minus the hero part ofc) and jealousy ensue.
