This story is based in the universe of the American Police Drama, 'The Rookie', during (at the time of production) later in Season 8 (episode 2+) following the main narrative of the fandom based couple 'Chenford' starring Sergeant Lucy Chen and Sergeant Tim Bradford. As the Mid-Wilshire station is already hotwired with action packed drama and thickening plot lines, there is another anchor dropped onto the station, a new rookie. As a member of the Field Training Officer Program, Tim Bradford reluctantly agrees to Field Train this new Rookie. Lucy has to turn and it becomes a car chase. A police car is parked in the way trying to stop all the chaos. Either Lucy stops, the cops and her gets shot. She rams into the police car, she'll possibly die and the cops too or she has to swerve into the ocean beside her. And that's what she does...
