Against her father's wishes, she joins Dr. Grace Augustine's Avatar Program, as something within her is telling her that Quaritch is wrong about the Na'vi. After her father discovers that she joined the Avatar Program, Dr. Augustine defends August's choice to join the program, and he reluctantly allows her to continue in the program. I don't own Avatar or the characters in the film. I only take credit for the plot and my original characters, such as August Quaritch. Also, I kind of suck at descriptions.
