Before they could even notice it, the Party was in their senior year, the last year they would spend together in high school. Since middle school, they had never stopped meeting in Mike Wheeler's basement to play RPGs. Mike loved creating new stories about monsters, fights, and magical powers. All of this wasn't real in their world, of course, but in Mike's mind, it was. Mike had always been a freak, but there was one thing even worse than being a freak: becoming like his father, Ted Wheeler. That's why he decided to go away for a while as soon as the holidays arrived, to develop his creative side by himself. But the Party wanted to stick with him, so he ended up going with them. At the same time, Will Byers, his best friend, was struggling to figure out his sexuality. He wasn't okay with it until he met a girl who was in the same situation. This friendship with Robin Buckley helped him finally be okay with himself. I kind of mixed season 4 and 5 together. It might feel weird.

I have a horrible feeling that season 5 is going to do Byler dirty so here's how i feel it should play out if the plot of the show was purely centred around their romance (ie I'm not enough of a sci-fi nerd to give this fic a proper since fiction worthy plotline so just enjoy my gay love stories) after season 4 ends and the byers move back to hawkins, will has to confront his feelings for mike whilst forced into the close quarters of living together and mike comes to realisations about his relationship with el and his own identity this fic is completely canon compliant thus far (obviously if you read this once season 5 is out it wont be anymore) and should work as a natural continuation of season 4, it will absolutely have a happy and satisfactory ending and i hope to finish it before the 26th of November COVER ART IS NOT MINE

Mike and El break up, hawkins is normal. will starts getting weird thoughts about mike. he starts feeling a weird way about mike and tries to deny it. mike is really happy will is back in hawkins and misses him a lot. But feels guilty for not calling a lot, and sending letters. ~ or Will is feeling h0rny about mike and mike tries to deny his feelings for will.
