⚔️ The Wayward Company "He came from an age of gunpowder and discipline... and found himself in a world of magic and monsters." The year was 1785 when Silas Ward was born - a Virginian by birth, a soldier by blood. The son of a frontier rifleman and a veteran of the Revolution, Ward grew up in the lingering smoke of musket fire and the echoes of liberty's war drums. His father's stories were full of powder, honor, and men who carved a nation from wilderness. Ward became one of them - a United States Marine, a captain forged in the chaos of the War of 1812 and the Barbary Wars that followed. He knew the sting of salt air, the ring of sabres, and the thundering recoil of a musket - his father's old Charleville, a relic from another war. He knew discipline, courage, and the silence that comes after battle. He thought he knew the world. Until one night, the world changed. A storm unlike any other swallowed his ship whole - and when he awoke, the sea was gone. In its place stood a land of twin moons and crimson dawns, where men walked beside elves and devils bore human faces. A place where steel and sorcery shared the same battlefield. To its people, he was an enigma: a foreigner in a tattered blue coat, wielding a thunderous weapon no forge could craft and speaking of wars no bard had sung of. To himself, he was something worse - a ghost adrift in a world that was not his own. But fate has a strange sense of humor. In this new realm, Silas Ward would cross paths with others who carried their own scars: a half-elf devoted to divine justice, a young fighter chasing her worth, a brooding warlock haunted by the cost of power, and a tiefling bard whose charm hides a wounded heart. Together, they will become known as The Wayward Company - not by choice, but by destiny. Their story is one of exile and rediscovery, of loyalty born in the fires of difference. For while some heroes are made by gods, and others by magic... Silas Ward was made by war.

"He carries a kingdom in his blood, and a graveyard on his wrist in the world of Wonder-Real. Not only that, but victory isn't only just won in the clouds alone. It's also claimed in the dirt and the deep." - Narrator In 2043, Oberon Draconia-D'Elise brings a new kind of war to Night Raven College. While other mages study ancient incantations, Oberon studies logistics, terrain, and the cold logic of the Wonder-Real. The princes' watch is a burden. It is the Sovereign's Decree, a tether to forty years of human war. Within its gears live the spirits of men and women who never made it home-renegades from the Free Erusea uprisings and the haunted, rogue crew of the Alicorn. They aren't just machines; they are echoes of regret, whispering of a world where the sky once rained fire. In a school of selfish magic, the prince must navigate the weight of his father's legacy while silencing the ghosts of a human war. But when a new flame rises at the academy-it will be the reminiscence of his past and must confront the truth. He isn't just a student. He's the commander of the fallen, and the sky is finally calling in its debts. (Disclaimer / Note: I do not own Twisted Wonderland or Ace Combat. Two commanders stand on opposite sides of a frozen battlefield. One commands lightning. The other commands the storm of winter. The war between them will not be won by strength alone-but by who understands the other first. The war should have ended years ago. Instead, it has become a quiet contest between two men who have not spoken face to face in a very long time. Captain Erakiel, known as the Heir of the Storm, leads the western armies with lightning in his wake. His battles are sudden, overwhelming, and precise. Across the battlefield stands Captain Quilo, the White Quill of the North-whose calm strategies move armies like pieces on a board as snow bends around him, Every decision he makes ripples through the war. When their forces finally meet along the frozen ridges between their kingdoms, neither seeks a reckless victory. Instead, they begin studying each other. As scouts become observers and battles become tests. Every move hides another beneath it. Through the eyes of lieutenants, strategists, and soldiers caught between them, the war slowly transforms into something more: A battle of patience, deception, and understanding. Because on this battlefield, the greatest weapon is not lightning or snow-It is knowing what your enemy will do next.

He saved the world. Now he must survive what it cost. Ash never wanted a throne. He took power because the old world had no heart-because hunger, indifference, and broken systems were crushing humanity long before any war began. Now, the Empire stands. The sick are treated. The hungry are fed. The broken are no longer abandoned. But beneath the Empire, the Forge still burns. Deep within the mountain, the Gene Forge remakes the willing into Legionnaires-or destroys them in the attempt. And with every sacrifice, the questions grow harder: how much suffering can be justified in the name of love? How much power can one man carry before mercy begins to look like tyranny? Some call him savior. Some call him monster. Ash calls it burden. And he will bear anything to keep the world from becoming what it was again.

War has come. After the devastating results of last year's hijacked Reenactment, Blader Thrym is currently in the middle of fighting the war between Domar Tros' chaos armies and Asgard's established reign. Between Tros and his apprentice's use of blood magic and rekkr soldiers, the einherjar are hard pressed to keep their holds on the Nine Worlds as civilians struggle to keep their loved ones safe. When Blader and his companions are chosen by the god Magni to reform the elite Mjolnir Squad, the first to be assembled since Dyr Gunar's rule, they are tasked with the mission of eliminating the two sorcerers commanding the forces of chaos. But with increased wolf and vikingr attacks, the squad's focus is split as the powers of the enemy grow. With the kidnapping of Blader's youngest sister and his inability to search for her, his brother Ivan is thrust out of his simple farming life into an alliance with Valkyrie Recruiter Loqe as the two of them set out to rescue Freyja in the midst of the turmoil of their world. Ivan's attraction to the Valkyrie only grows during his time with Loqe as he remains blissfully unaware of the secrets and punishment she hides. In the second installment of the Einherjar Saga, Blader Thrym and his allies join the war against the sorcerers who invoke chaos in order to protect the world order. /**/ #1 Military Fantasy 6/18/23

Monsters are uniting. And ancient enemies thought long vanished are walking in daylight. Reluctantly stepping back into the fray, Cole assembles a mismatched crew of mercenaries, misfits, and one overly polite military strategist with a knack for war games and no clue how to survive a brothel. What begins as a favor quickly unravels into a war against a hidden force threatening to consume the kingdom from within. The deeper they dig, the darker it gets. Loyalties will be tested. Legends will awaken. And Cole-whether he likes it or not-might be the last line of defense between civilization and the monsters clawing through the cracks. So when he is offered a chance between allowing his trouble to bring shame upon his family or enlist in the einherjar, thereby restoring his honor, Blader chooses the latter. Each incoming einherjar must prove themselves worthy to join the ranks of the finest warriors, those belonging to the Reborn Cosmos' High King Baldor. The rite of passage, the Reenactment, sends all the new recruits into a reality that is a remembrance of the old Nine Worlds, of the worlds before Ragnarok, in order to test their courage, strength, honor, cleverness, and combat skills through a series of trials. The stakes are life and death. Only those good enough to survive have what it takes to be an einherjar. But the wolves are beginning to sneak out of the darkness and talk of conspirators is increasing. When allegiances are called into question and suspicions of the Reenactment's effectiveness to select the best recruits for the einherjar start spreading, Blader must do his best to both survive and hold to the values he prizes. He will have to pull on everything he ever learned about his reality's past in order to have any sort of a future in his world. Cover created by @CelticWarriorQueen17
