"Your Majesty! this shall not stand!" the Duke exclaimed bitterly, i could sense the hatred in his voice from where i hid behind the back pillar of the throne room. "Duke Claudaire, Control yourself!" the King's guard warned and readied his sword, aiming it threateningly at the Duke. the Duke wasn't fazed at all, he kept his eyes trained on the King. "Your Majesty, the Claudaire family has supported you long before your ascension to the throne, can you not spare I, the head of the Claudaire family, this living and walking disgrace? allow me sever his head off his shoulders so that his hideous face may no longer haunt my dreams whilst I sleep!" the duke spat out, each words laced with venom. My palm instinctively went to touch my neck, I gulped. Right, Duke Claudaire must never discover my real identity... just one year...one year and I'll be out of this death trap. "Duke Claudaire, for the last time, CONTROL YOURSELF BEFORE HIS MAJESTY LEST I SEVER YOUR TONGUE!"

in the village near the border, there was a girl who was returning home from her task that she got, as she was near her village, she got a bad feeling coming. her village was destroyed by the enemies of their kingdom, thinking of revenge, she joined the military to avenge her village so as her family. *This story is highly inspired of the novel called Female General and Eldest Princess, so some of the scene might be the same since I like some of the scene. I really like the story that it gave me an idea to make a story inspired by Female General and Eldest Princess.
