C.A.T. stands for Citizen's Army Training. This story is a throwback to high school military training in the 90s way back when to be on the top rank is almost impossible to reach, especially if you're a female.

The Claxion government created the eugenics program with the promise of a brighter future. It started as a voluntary program, but failed to reach the sixty-five percent that was needed to improve future generations. Voluntary turned to legal requirement and legal requirement turned to force. Any Claxion that continued to refuse to be altered at the genetic level was tortured into submission. When torture failed to persuade, the executions started. It was that moment when the Rangers arrived and quickly devastated the government and military structures and left no eugenicist in power. The Claxion people had their day in court and all involved were sentenced to death for their crimes. The first generation following the eugenicists discovered a frightening reality. Space sickness was a death sentence for all who left the planet. The second generation lost most to the sickness, but others due to a softening of the bones. The third generation fared the same as the second. Trax'l was part of the fourth generation. He survived the sickness and received training to prevent the falls from killing him. He found work as ships security and is given an offer by the first Ranger he has ever met. Go through their training and become a Ranger. Trax'l owed the rangers everything and joining their ranks would mean he can repay them in some small way. Will Trax'l survive training and join their ranks?

In the City of Vanstone, survival is a privilege - not a right. At sixteen, every citizen's life changes. Your name is added to the Conscription Ledger, and from that moment, your clock starts ticking. The only way to escape that fate is to survive the Trials. Brutal. Public. Glorified. Win, and you earn a place within the Garrison - trained, fed, sheltered from the front lines. Lose and you might not return at all. For years, Sable has prepared for this moment. Training classes. Hunger. Discipline. But beneath the spectacle of the Trials lies something far darker. Because in Vanstone, the greatest danger isn't the arena.

Born into legends. Raised in secrecy. Forged by tragedy. Bound by family. Akari Gulskii, daughter of the fearsome Black Joker Argo Gulskii and the steadfast Nastasha, and Hikari Kasshu, daughter of the King of Hearts Domon Kasshu and the brilliant Rain Mikamura, were hidden away as infants to protect them from the enemies of the Gundam Fighters. Raised by Dr. Kasshu as sisters, their peaceful childhood ends when his death sends them to a harsh military academy. When the camp is attacked, the two girls risk everything to save every child under their care. The battle leaves them forever changed, each losing a limb before advanced cybernetic prosthetics give them a second chance at life. Through it all, the glowing family crests burned into their palms refuse to fade. Adopted by Charlie Swan at twelve, the sisters begin a new life in the quiet town of Forks, Washington. Between overprotective Charlie, kind-hearted Dr. Carlisle Cullen, a bewildered Bella Swan, and the mysteries surrounding the Cullens, they slowly discover what it truly means to belong to a family. But nothing could prepare Forks High for Dress as Your Parent's Career Day, when two legendary Gundam Fighters unexpectedly walk through the school doors to meet the daughters they were forced to leave behind. As old enemies emerge and the past refuses to stay buried, Akari and Hikari must decide who they are-not just the daughters of heroes, but heroes in their own right. In a world where hearts burn brighter than steel, family is the greatest strength of all.
