Poetry, depicting what it is like to be a woman in a male dominated field. For me, this means being a woman in the military, and the strict regulations with our makeup, and how, while yes, makeup is not an end-all, be-all, it is my warpaint, and I feel much less naked without it. It gives me confidence, but it is subjective.

She's an American Soldier,not your average,she's also a werewolf,left her pack behind to go to the army. Her mother thinks she running away from her problems,her father's dead gone fighting for his country,Her brother thinks she a stuck up girly-girl,who left because she couldn't face life,and then there's her mate,rejected at first site for 'not being good enough' for him. She's seen things no person should most call her weak,no good,but she's fierce and she's had enough,finally running away form the pack. She's an American Soldier, and her name is sparrow.

She's been through Hell and back. She was the first female soldier, and that makes it harder for everyone to take her seriously. One misprint of her name send her to the army, and they couldn't back out after that. So now, she wears dog tags and a uniform. When the sky devils are asked to do one last mission before they go home, Colonel Packard calls the British woman for some well needed distraction for his men. None of them thought about her family, or her name.
