"Uhe~ Leave such a troublesome task to this uncle!" I can carry something like a water bottle myself, you know??? "Even if you come to visit Gehenna, I've had the Discipline Committee thoroughly clean up to ensure it's safe, so you can come anytime..." Was it really okay to mobilize the entire Discipline Committee just for me? "Hahaha!! Instead of visiting that horned girl's school, how about coming to our Tea Party? Our Panic Room is safer than anywhere else!" No, you shouldn't use the Panic Room for such trivial matters! "Huh? Well, I'll just clean everything up anyway, so wouldn't it be easier to just call C&C?" Wait, but C&C is supposed to be classified... Is it really okay to talk about it so openly? "I'm really fine, okay!" A story about an ordinary (?) protagonist and the people around her who worry about her. (The cover features the protagonist drawn by the author, altered using AI!) (A contradiction where illusions exist, yet rarely manifest) (We aim to create novels you can read at a leisurely pace!) Original novel link: https://novelpia.com/novel/183424

Author's Note / Introduction (Read Me First!) Hey everyone! Welcome to The Economics of Love 🥂✨ I wrote this guide because I got tired of the same generic, copy-and-pasted dating advice that shows up everywhere online. No, you are not crazy for losing that initial "spark," and no, your ex was not some mysterious puzzle - sometimes people are simply reacting to human psychology, expectations, and the realities of modern relationships. In this book, we'll look at love through a completely different lens: the witty, complicated, and sometimes brutal world of economics. Whether you're single and navigating the digital dating scene, in a relationship and trying to avoid falling into a rut, or healing from heartbreak, this book is for you. If something in these pages speaks to you, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. And if you enjoy the book, please tap the Star/Vote button to help it reach more readers. New chapters will be posted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So settle in, stay curious, and let's begin. - Your Ultimate Guide

The Roman Empire began to decline after Germanic tribes crossed the river Rhine in 406 CE. When Constantine III recalled the legions from Britain, three years later, the Angles and Saxons invaded and Britain became known as Angleland. The Visigoths sacked Rome in 410. The Vandals invaded north Africa in 429 and conquered Carthage before crossing the Mediterranean to sack Rome in 455 CE. Meanwhile, Christianity grew from a minor Hebrew religious cult to dominate much of Europe. With the continual violence, people reverted to a poorer lifestyle. However, the metal workers, glass blowers, carpenters, leather workers, rope makers, weavers, potters and farmers developed more efficient horse drawn plows, improved crop yields, build better boats and the first engineers designed water wheels to irrigate crops, grind seeds and saw wood. They invented wooden barrels, wagon wheels and windmills as the Chinese invented paper and printing. Meanwhile, the Indians revolutionized mathematics and Moslems discovered chemistry. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).

Description: As Millennials and Generation Z, we feel unheard and unseen. We struggle to make our presence known and have fallen victim to issues surrounding finance, relationships, and situations regarding a world we sometimes view as dark. This anthology relates and creatively relays the everyday struggles that these two generations face. This anthology not only helps you to notice the issues we face in today's world. But helps us as a collective to understand what is happening and take action to make the world a better place one day at a time. These poems will turn our struggles into strengths. *I welcome constructive criticism; before you read, please keep in mind that I am a political poet, and I am aware that my writing will get backlash in one way or another. Please try to keep that at a minimum in the comments. I support all the opinions others have, and these are my views on some of the struggles millennials go through.* Important Note: This piece is already copyrighted and published through Amazon KDP and is available in ebook and paperback format. It has been edited and gone through an entire process. I wanted to allow readers who haven't picked it up to get a free overall idea of my writing. This version here on Wattpad will only have 6 out of 31 poems. You can check out "The Millennial Toll" on Amazon, link in the "About me" section of my profile.

The story of seven-year-old Al, his destructively imaginative mother Daisy, and his first-grade teacher Mr. Andrew Ainscough, all of whom believe, with varying levels of fervidity, in the magic of stories. As their lives entwine during Al's first days of school, fantasy, delusion, and reality meet with tragic consequences.
