"Uhe~ Leave such a troublesome task to this uncle!" I can carry something like a water bottle myself, you know??? "Even if you come to visit Gehenna, I've had the Discipline Committee thoroughly clean up to ensure it's safe, so you can come anytime..." Was it really okay to mobilize the entire Discipline Committee just for me? "Hahaha!! Instead of visiting that horned girl's school, how about coming to our Tea Party? Our Panic Room is safer than anywhere else!" No, you shouldn't use the Panic Room for such trivial matters! "Huh? Well, I'll just clean everything up anyway, so wouldn't it be easier to just call C&C?" Wait, but C&C is supposed to be classified... Is it really okay to talk about it so openly? "I'm really fine, okay!" A story about an ordinary (?) protagonist and the people around her who worry about her. (The cover features the protagonist drawn by the author, altered using AI!) (A contradiction where illusions exist, yet rarely manifest) (We aim to create novels you can read at a leisurely pace!) Original novel link: https://novelpia.com/novel/183424

*Rom-Com, Slow Burn, Normal Person-Meets-Celebrity* Meg has been called many things in her thirty-plus years - the Weird Sister, Auntie Witch, and the Heavyset One - but now she's Emerson Day, best-selling author and today's guest on The Giles Lane Show. It is here, amidst fogs of sickly hairspray and snarky comments on her weight that she meets Mark Charles, a charming beefcake most famous for a string of popular superhero movies. As their backstage flirtations surface online, the ensuring social media storm threatens to drown them both. Meg is thrust in the limelight and into a lifestyle she's not comfortable with. The most confusing part, though? Mark might actually be into her.

Tatlong babae.

First of all... kamusta ang likod? Somewhere along the way, naging adults pala tayo. Mula sa Friendster, Yahoo! Messenger, burned CDs, Nokia phones, at mga panahong kailangan mo pang tumayo para palitan ang channel sa TV, napunta tayo sa work, responsibilities, bills, family, expectations, at kung minsan... Salonpas. So... At tara, pag-usapan natin.

Let's all take a moment to look around us. Breathe. Widen those senses. And absorb every little feeling out there. Incomprehensible. That's the veracity of the things existing around us and including our own. We'll try to fathom everything. There's an unending joy to it. Skim near the shores or go deep into the unknown. Hope these poems provide you all variable perspectives.

Chloe knows Theo. Or at least, she thinks she does. They've only known each other for a few weeks, yet somehow she knows the little things about him that she shouldn't. The way he thinks. The way he laughs. The places that feel familiar when he's beside her. Then she finds a photograph. Five friends. One ordinary university event. And a girl in the background who disappears every time Chloe looks again. Soon, Chloe begins remembering things that never happened in this life. Theo starts having memories of her that he can't explain. And somewhere between the impossible photographs, forgotten places, and feelings neither of them can name, one question refuses to disappear: Have we met before? Maybe they have. Maybe they always do. In every life, they find each other.

The Roman Empire began to decline after Germanic tribes crossed the river Rhine in 406 CE. When Constantine III recalled the legions from Britain, three years later, the Angles and Saxons invaded and Britain became known as Angleland. The Visigoths sacked Rome in 410. The Vandals invaded north Africa in 429 and conquered Carthage before crossing the Mediterranean to sack Rome in 455 CE. Meanwhile, Christianity grew from a minor Hebrew religious cult to dominate much of Europe. With the continual violence, people reverted to a poorer lifestyle. However, the metal workers, glass blowers, carpenters, leather workers, rope makers, weavers, potters and farmers developed more efficient horse drawn plows, improved crop yields, build better boats and the first engineers designed water wheels to irrigate crops, grind seeds and saw wood. They invented wooden barrels, wagon wheels and windmills as the Chinese invented paper and printing. Meanwhile, the Indians revolutionized mathematics and Moslems discovered chemistry. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. The discovery of agriculture made us richer but we also learned how to destroy wealth. Great civilization grew up but then disappeared leaving only incredible ruins and ideas. Later books detail some of the ideas and developments that increased the average life span from about 40 years to more than 80 and the average world income from less than $3 to more than $33 per person per day (and to $140 per day in some countries).

A smile was all it took ...to let go of her dreams; ...to walk away from her promising future; ...to abandon the one she once believed was the love of her life. Just a smile away... ...towards the one that unraveled the life she had always known. One smile away was all it took to leave everything behind and follow another path. But it was a step she could never retrace-shattering the world she once knew, and the storm she unleashed followed her everywhere, pulling her back again and again to that day she fell for that smile. And in the quiet hours, when the storm grew quiet, she wondered: Did she make the right choice?

Author's Note / Introduction (Read Me First!) Hey everyone! Welcome to The Economics of Love 🥂✨ I wrote this guide because I got tired of the same generic, copy-and-pasted dating advice that shows up everywhere online. No, you are not crazy for losing that initial "spark," and no, your ex was not some mysterious puzzle - sometimes people are simply reacting to human psychology, expectations, and the realities of modern relationships. In this book, we'll look at love through a completely different lens: the witty, complicated, and sometimes brutal world of economics. Whether you're single and navigating the digital dating scene, in a relationship and trying to avoid falling into a rut, or healing from heartbreak, this book is for you. If something in these pages speaks to you, I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments. And if you enjoy the book, please tap the Star/Vote button to help it reach more readers. New chapters will be posted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. So settle in, stay curious, and let's begin. - Your Ultimate Guide
